What crypto signal groups don't show you
Updated 22 Sep 2026
Typical Telegram and Discord signal groups as a category, next to Sentinel Aleph. No group is named.
| Feature | Typical signal group | Sentinel Aleph |
|---|---|---|
| Public ledger of every call | Rare. Calls live in a chat feed that the admin can edit or delete | Every published signal, with a permalink and a JSON and CSV export |
| Losses shown | Up to the admin | Stops, break-evens, expiries and veto closes in the same ledger |
| Fees included | Rarely stated | Every result net of 0.10% fees and modelled funding |
| Vetoes logged | Not published | BTC veto closes published with their reason; setups refused before publication are logged |
| Settlement rule | Not published | Binance 1-minute candles; a candle touching stop and target counts as the stop |
| Price | Free channels and paid tiers | Free during the open beta |
| Auto-trading | Some sell copy-trading bots | None. No orders are placed |
What to ask any signal provider
- Where is the full list of calls, losses included?
- Are results net of fees and funding?
- What counts as a win, and when is a trade counted?
- Which calls were cancelled, and why?
- What is the sample size behind each ratio?
Honest crypto signals start with a ledger anyone can check: the Sentinel ledger.
